Sketching Souls: The Art of Character Creation
In my latest illustration project, I used my anthropological background to bring real depth to the characters and setting. Each piece became a study of who these characters are—their histories, beliefs, and social ties, not just their appearances. This approach helped me connect with them on a deeper level, making it more than just visual art; it was a chance to explore their world firsthand.
Through this project, I’ve started to lay the groundwork for a novel, letting each illustration act as a narrative thread. The art became a way to visually capture the richness of their lives and culture.
